This free YVHC event is on Saturday March 26, 12pm-2pm at the YVHC clubhouse.
This "Cooking sessions with Colleen Smith" events endeavours to answer three key questions:
1. What’s in the fridge and pantry?
2. How can I add more nutrient to this meal?
3. How can I give my family tasty, highly nutritious food with a minimum of time and fuss in the kitchen.
Colleen’s passion for family health and background of over 40 years in medical science and nutrition has seen her become an in-demand presenter of practical home cooking strategies she has termed "Colleen’s Concept Cooking".
A mother of 4 with an expanding number of grandchildren, Colleen has great appreciation of the pressure and practicalities of cooking nutritious meals for the busy person, the athlete, the frantic family, the fussy eater, Gluten free/Dairy free eating and those who wish to regain their health.
YVHC is thrilled to draw on Colleen’s expertise for our athletes and families. Nutritionally supporting her children and family members while they competed at the national and international level also provided Colleen invaluable experience about fuelling the teenage/young adult athlete.
Do not miss this opportunity to learn as Colleen cooks and commentates an information rich afternoon.
The best part? You get to eat the food at the end!
